I am a member of the Underwater Technologies Research Institute (SUTA) in Bodrum. It is our aim to improve and refine new technologies and vehicles for underwater research. SUTA was established in 1991. The headquarter is in Yalikavak, Bodrum. President Erkan Ayral has devoted his life and energy for the exploration of the underwater world. He instructs people in the operation of submarines and ROVs (remote operated vehicles). Our institute cooperates with universities and the Navy. And I am one of the few people in Turkey who have a Mini Submarine and ROV Operation Licence (wow)... !

Mini Submarine is for 2-3 people.

Max. test depth: 500 m.

24V DC power supply and one main, one side, one vertical propulsion motor.

6 cm. steel crust, weighs two tons.

Equipped with an hydraulic arm to retrieve objects from the bottom.
The operator must know every detail in the submarine. While diving we sometimes have to fix minor technical problems.
Before and after diving there are routine checks like recharging the batteries and control of instruments.

Wet submarine for two divers in full scuba gear.

Test depth: 70m. Operational up to 40 m.

24V one main engine, Joystick control.
